Six prosecution witnesses were examined on Friday in the trial related to the murder of Punjabi singer Shubdeep Singh, alias Sidhu Moosewala, at the District and Sessions Court in Mansa.Meanwhile, complainant Balkaur Singh, through his counsel advocate Satinder Pal Singh Mittal, moved an application in the court seeking the status of accused Navjot Singh, alias Jyoti Pandher, Kanwar Grewal, Avtar Singh and Jeevanjot. The counsel submitted that the police had neither filed any report clarifying whether these accused had been arrested or declared innocent, nor presented any cancellation report or challan before the court to date.“The case is presently at the stage of examination-in-chief of the complainant,” Mittal said.
