Students learn about water conservation at Jal Jeevan Mission exhibition | India News

MAHAKUMBH CITY: The Jal Jeevan Mission’s ‘Swachh Sujal Gaon’ exhibition at the Mahakumbh is educating visitors about the changes brought to villages in Uttar Pradesh under the mission. School students from Jayaprakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Prayagraj visited the exhibition on Wednesday to learn about the impact of the mission’s ‘Har Ghar Nal’ project in rural areas, including water-scarce regions like Bundelkhand. The students participated in an interactive activity called ‘The Water Game’ at the digital game zone, which aimed to teach water conservation and the importance of safe drinking water. They also visited the art gallery, which displayed the progress of the ‘Har Ghar Jal’ project. After viewing the water conservation tableaux, the students pledged to conserve water and highlighted the need for pure, hygienic drinking water for a safer future.
