Subhash Ghai buys Rs 24 crore apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West: Report

Veteran Bollywood director Subhash Ghai and his wife, Mukta Ghai, have purchased a luxury apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai, for Rs 24 crore, according to property documents accessed by Square Yards. The deal was registered on February 3, with a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.44 crore and registration charges of Rs 30,000. The apartment is located in 81 Aureate, a premium residential project by MJ Shah Group, spread across 4.48 acres. It features a 4 BHK unit with a carpet area of 4,364 sq. ft. and a built-up area of approximately 5,239 sq. ft. The property also includes three car parking spaces. Interestingly, Ghai and his wife had sold an apartment in Andheri West for Rs 12.85 crore last month. That unit, located on the 14th floor of Rustomjee Elita, was part of their property portfolio before they made this high-end purchase in Bandra. Bandra West remains one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential areas due to its proximity to the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), a major business hub. The area offers seamless connectivity via the Western Express Highway, Bandra-Worli Sea Link, and the upcoming metro network, making it a prime location for top executives and celebrities alike.
