Punjab Police has foiled a people sidesplitting crippled orchestrated by Canada-based violent Arsh Dala and arrested 2 cardinal operatives of the module, officials said connected Sunday.
According to preliminary investigation, the arrested individuals were acting connected the directions of Arsh Dala to destruct rival pack members and extortion targets, DGP Gaurav Yadav posted connected X.
“In a large breakthrough, State Special Operations Cell (#SSOC), Punjab, foils a people sidesplitting crippled orchestrated by Canada-based violent Arsh Dala and apprehends 2 cardinal operatives – Kawaljit Singh, R/o Dharamkot, and Navdeep Singh @ Hani, R/o Badduwal,” the DGP said successful the post.
He added that with this timely and intelligence-led operation, the SSOC has successfully busted a targeted sidesplitting module, averting a superior menace to nationalist safety.
Police besides seized 1 Zigana .30 bore pistol (Turkish made) and 9 unrecorded cartridges during the operation, the DGP said.
“Further probe is underway to hint some guardant and backward linkages of the module,” the DGP said.
