The first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Ramayana to drop on July 3

Ramayana, produced by Namit Malhotra, is poised to be the biggest cinematic project ever made, a grand retelling of India’s most revered epic. With anticipation building by the day, the film promises to redefine storytelling and raise the bar for Indian cinema on a global stage. And now, an exciting update has arrived—the first official glimpse into the world of Ramayana will be unveiled on July 3.

Titled Ramayana: The Introduction, this announcement promo will be launched across nine cities in India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune and Kochi. It marks the beginning of a new cinematic chapter and offers audiences their very first look into this epic world. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and eight times Oscar Winning VFX Studio, DNEG, in association with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana Part 1 is set to release on Diwali 2026, followed by Part 2 on Diwali 2027.
