After the historic US-Iran negotiations concluded in Islamabad without resolution, US President Donald Trump on Sunday claimed that Tehran’s nuclear ambitions were at the core of the failure to end the war, and the US was ready to “finish up” Iran at the “appropriate moment”.“They (Iran) want money and, more importantly, they want nuclear. Additionally and, at an appropriate moment, we are fully ‘LOCKED AND LOADED,’ and our military will finish up the little that is left of Iran,” he said in a Truth Social post.Meanwhile, Trump said his threat to impose 50 per cent tariffs on goods from countries that sold weapons to Iran was aimed at China. Trump told Fox News that had heard reports of China giving anti-aircraft “shoulder missiles” to Iran.
