Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi made a surprising early exit from the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo during the second innings of the high-voltage India versus Pakistan T20 World Cup clash, leaving the ground when the match was still underway.According to a video posted by PTI, Naqvi was seen seated inside a car outside the stadium shortly after Mohammad Nawaz’s dismissal in the 12th over of Pakistan’s chase, with media at the venue confirming his departure.Earlier, live broadcast visuals had shown the PCB chief seated in one of the VVIP boxes at Premadasa.Reports suggest he was there for an ice-breaking interaction with ICC chairman Jay Shah. While the two were not seen together, Naqvi did meet officials from Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) during his visit.Last year, Naqvi notably refused to vacate the stage when the Indian team reportedly did not wish to receive the Asia Cup trophy from him.
