Wear your longitude

Renowned artist Paresh Maity, Padma Shri recipient, often wears his art on his sleeve, not by way of a metaphor but literally. Those privy to the man behind those robust water colour compositions have often seen him adorning motifs of his paintings on his bandgalas or in that vibrant scarf around his neck. But more recently at the Cannes Film Festival, celebrity influencer Shalini Passi’s gown carrying his art was a cynosure of all eyes. Designed by Manish Malhotra, the fish-cut silhouette carried the imprint of his latest painting Longitude 77.
