Indian carriers Air India Group and IndiGo have recalibrated operations for Tuesday, planning a combined total of 66 flights to and from West Asia amid continuing disruptions in the region due to ongoing conflict between the US, Israel and Iran.The Air India Group, comprising Air India and Air India Express, has scheduled 36 services, including 20 non-scheduled flights to and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), subject to slot availability and local conditions.According to an Air India spokesperson, these services are being operated with approvals from Indian authorities and UAE regulators.Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will be served only through ad hoc flights. Air India and Air India Express will operate services from Delhi to Dubai, while Abu Dhabi will be connected by Air India Express flights from Delhi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru and Mumbai. Sharjah will see services from Amritsar and Kannur.No operations are planned for Al Ain, while services to Ras Al Khaimah remain suspended.In Oman, scheduled flights will continue on the Muscat route, with Air India Express operating flights from Delhi and Mumbai. Services to Salalah, however, remain suspended.In Saudi Arabia, operations will continue partially. Air India will operate scheduled flights to Jeddah from Delhi and Mumbai, while Air India Express will connect Jeddah with Hyderabad, Kannur and Kozhikode. Riyadh will have a scheduled Air India service from Delhi, while Dammam remains suspended.Flights to Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait and Tel Aviv continue to be suspended for the day.Meanwhile, IndiGo has lined up 30 flights across the Middle East, connecting cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Bengaluru with destinations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah and Muscat.“During these challenging times, IndiGo remains focused on ensuring customers reach their intended destinations,” the airline said, indicating continued operations under prevailing safety conditions.The Air India Group said its long-haul flights to North America, Europe and Australia remain unaffected and are operating as per schedule, with disruptions confined to West Asia sectors.Passengers affected by cancellations on Air India Group routes have been offered free rebooking or full refunds, as airlines continue to rely on ad hoc clearances and dynamic scheduling to maintain connectivity in a volatile airspace.
