Raghav Chadha on Friday posted an Instagram message saying he would let his work in Parliament do the talking. The message, one in a series, meant for the Aam Aadmi Party, comes a day after a Tribune analysis revealed that Chadha had the second highest attendance in the Budget Session of Parliament. After the Congress’ Amar Singh who topped the charts with 100 per cent attendance, Chadha came in second with a 96.7 per cent attendance record, alongside BJP’s Satnam Singh Sandhu.Chadha posted a compilation of the many pro-people issues he raised in Parliament and said, “With respect, those questioning my parliamentary performance, I will let my work do the talking.”In the video, Chadha is heard raising issues pertaining to Punjab’s cancer train, where people from Malwa belt take a train to Bikaner to access cheap cancer therapy. Many other similar shots of Chadha asking questions in Parliament are part of the post.In the budget session, Chadha asked the third highest number of questions (48) in Parliament among all Punjab MPs — after Satnam Sandhu who asked 51 questions and AAP’s Sandeep Pathak who asked 49.Chadha was last week removed by AAP as deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha. Founder and chancellor of Lovely Professional University Ashok Mittal replaced him.AAP also accused Chadha of not raising issues pertaining to Punjan, from where he is a Rajya Sabha member.
