An 11-year-old girl, who was alone at her house at Malukpura village here, sustained severe burn injuries while preparing tea on a gas stove on Sunday. She was taken to the Civil Hospital, but the doctors there referred her to a Faridkot hospital. Neighbours said the family had gone out to work in the fields at that time.
