In a major administrative reshuffle, the state government today ordered the transfer and posting of 17 IAS and 22 Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HAS) officers.Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Onkar Sharma (Tribal Development) will also hold the additional charge of ACS (Transport). RD Nazeem, ACS (Food, Civil Supplies, Transport, Industries) will now be ACS (Home, Vigilance and Power).Devesh Kumar, Principal Secretary (Urban Development) shall look after Finance, Planning and Statistics with additional charge of Animal Husbandry. MS Sudha Devi, Principal Secretary (Health and Personnel) will now look after Forest and Industries.Priya Basu Ingty, Secretary (Labour and Employment) will now look after Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. Ashish Singmar, Secretary (Digital Technology and Governance) has been given additional charge of Health and Family Welfare.Yunus, serving as Director Industries has been posted as Secretary (State Taxes and Excise). Sandeep Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Kangra as Secretary (Tourism and Civil Aviation). Amarjeet Singh, Secretary (Town and Country Planning and Housing) has been given additional charge of Urban Development.Vivek Bhatia, Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister has been given additional charge of Director Industries. Rakesh Kumar Prajapati, Director Energy has been posted as Director Tourism and Civil Aviation.Dr Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Special Secretary (Health) has been posted as Commissioner, State Taxes and Excise. Vivek Chandel, Director-cum-Warden (Fisheries) has been posted as Commissioner Municipal Corporation Baddi.Madhu Chaudhary, Registrar, Palampur Agriculture University has been posted as Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare. Om Kant Thakur, Managing Director (MD), HP Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation as Director-cum-Warden Fisheries.Abhishek Kumar Garga, Additional Deputy Commissioner Hamirpur, has been posted as MD HP State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd, and Gursimar Singh, MD General Industries Corporation (GIC) Ltd as Director Technical Education.Among the HAS officers, Sachin Kanwal, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister has been posted as Commissioner, Shimla Municipal Corporation in place of Bhupender Kumar who has been posted as MD, General Industries Corporation (GIC) Ltd.Gian Sagar Negi, Registrar, HP University has been posted as Additional District Magistrate (Protocol) Shimla in place of Jyoti Rana who has been posted as Registrar (HPU). Ekta Kapta, Additional Director (Medical Education) as ADM, Sirmaur in place of Liaq Ram Sharma who has been posted as MD, HIMFED, Shimla.Sixteen other HAS officers, mostly at the level of SDM, have also been given new postings.
