A suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a police checkpost in Pakistan’s Punjab province, killing two officials and injuring at least five others.The attack took place on Jattvibeday in Dera Ghazi Khan district, and it targeted the Jhangi Police checkpoint near Wahova in Taunsa tehsil, Dawn newspaper reported on Monday.Two police officials were killed and five others injured in the suicide bombing attack in Pakistan’s Punjab province, officials said.District Police Officer Sadiq Baluch said one terrorist was also killed in the attack.Police have launched a search operation in the area, while security forces have cordoned off Taunsa tehsil and are collecting evidence, the report said.The vehicle was rammed into the gate of the Jhangi post, damaging around 40 per cent of the checkpost building.The wounded were rushed to Taunsa Sharif THQ Hospital, it said.
