A month after the Fazilka State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) arrested a 16-year-old youth with a Pakistan-made hand grenade, the CIA staff arrested three more youths and recovered another hand grenade from their possession, officials said on Wednesday.The accused were allegedly waiting near the Chak Pakhi railway station area to contact their accomplices and hand over the grenade when they were apprehended by the police.Investigations are underway to ascertain from where the hand grenade was procured and where it was intended to be used.CIA staff incharge Jattvibeil Kumar said that acting on a tip-off, the team arrested three youths identified as Shekhwinder Singh, Lakhvir Singh alias Manga, both residents of Lakhewali village, and Gurpinder Singh alias Manna, a resident of Chak Pakhi village in Fazilka district.The accused were produced before a judicial magistrate, who remanded them to five days in police custody, the officer added.
