In a late-night administrative reshuffle, eight IAS officers were transferred in Punjab, with Sandeep Rishi appointed as the new Chief Administrator of the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA).Rishi replaces Sandeep Kumar, who had only recently taken charge of GMADA. Kumar has also been moved out as Director of the Town and Country Planning Department, but has not been given a new posting.Among other prominent changes, Sakshi Sawhney has been relieved of her role as Chief Administrator of the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUPDA). She has been appointed the nodal officer for the state’s Anti-Drug Campaign. Neeru Katyal Gupta will now serve as Chief Administrator of PUPDA and Director of Town and Country Planning. Neelima has been shifted from the Home Department and assigned charge of the Personnel and Vigilance Departments.
