They were backing singers for Wham! before going off and creating their own group and releasing music.

But three and a half decades later, Pepsi, 67, is still looking as youthful as ever.

In pictures uploaded on her Instagram feed, the performer appears radiant and is glowing from within.

In one snap, she posed in West London, where she was born, as she sported a colourful outfit.

In the photo, Pepsi is wearing a light blue blazer and multi-coloured pants as she beams from ear to ear with her hair tied up in a bun.

She and Shirlie still appear to be great pals as she posted a picture of them both together in April.

The pair are seen sitting in a car, wearing sunglasses and head scarfs as Pepsi holds her pet pooch in her lap.

She captioned it: “This is a picture that just makes me smile. A moment captured a few years ago with my pal @shirliekemp.

“It was a good idea to clear pictures off my phone and to discover this gem.”

Although she wanted to become a solo artist afterwards, Shirlie convinced her to become a duo instead.

They released their first album, All Right Now, in 1987 under record label Polydor Records.

Their first single ‘Heartache’ went to number 2 in the UK music charts and also charted in 12 other countries around the world.

Pepsi and Shirlie released their second album Change in 1991 but it failed to have the same impact as their first and didn’t chart in the UK.

They stepped away from the pop duo that same year as Shirlie wanted to focus on raising a family with her husband Martin Kemp, who was part of Spandau Ballet.

The duo released their memoir in 2022, which detailed their rise to fame and their successful transition to becoming a chart-topping duo.

These days, Pepsi now lives in St. Lucia where she runs a charter sailing business with her husband James Crockett.

She released her debut novel, Island Song, which is inspired by her parents’ immigration to the UK in the 1950s.
