Hazard, 33, is the younger brother of Blues legend Eden, who moved to Stamford Bridge in 2012.
Thorgan made the switch from RC Lens in France that same summer and was on the books at Chelsea for three years.
But he never played a single senior game for the club as his big bro went on to sparkle in the Premier League.
And now Thorgan is preparing to return to Lens, nearly 20 years after going to the club’s youth academy in 2007.

According to reports, Hazard Jr will sign a two-year deal with the surprise Ligue 1 title challengers.
It will mark a return to the senior side after 14 years away.
Hazard made 16 appearances for the first team before going to England with Eden – who went from Lille.
But unlike his two-time Premier League winning sibling, Thorgan went straight on loan to Zulte Waregem in Belgium that the same year.

Although he remained in Eden’s shadow, Thorgan was part of Belgium’s 2018 World Cup squad – but only played two matches.
He also went to the Qatar 2022 tournament but did not play again after that.
Hazard was sold by Gladbach to Dortmund in 2019 and became a trusted member of the team.
The versatile forward played over 100 times in black and yellow, scoring 18 times.
In total he made almost 250 Bundesliga matches with 95 goal contributions.
In 2023 he left Dortmund and joined PSV on loan before going to Anderlecht later that year.
Eden retired in 2023 after ending his horror stay at Real Madrid early.
His much younger brother Ethan still plays in Belgium and is only 22.
Kylian Hazard is 30 and also playing in the Belgian lower leagues.
He was signed by Chelsea in 2017 as an attempt to keep Eden happy.
