SHOPPERS are rushing to their nearest Aldi to bag a bargain buy that will brighten up your garden – and add a fun touch of nature.

The German supermarket is renowned for its cheap products, from plants and outdoor furniture to statement ornaments.

So if your garden is looking a little dreary or you want to give your flowerbed a revamp, you’ll want to leg it to your nearest store.

The Garden Bright Butterfly Solar Swaying Light Stick is priced at just £2.99 each, and features six colourful butterflies.

And because it’s a stick design, you can place it wherever you like – lighting up your lawn, flowerbeds or plant pot.

The Aldi team promise that the pretty butterfly lights will “illuminate your garden and add a touch of style”.

They come with a solar panel that has a twilight sensor, and ensures an automatic glow at sunset.

But as with all Specialbuys, there’s only limited stock so once it’s gone, it’s gone.

And if butterflies aren’t your style, the swaying light stick also comes in a flower version or with simple warm white, clear or multicolour bulbs.

Taking to Facebook‘s popular Aldi UK Shoppers group, one gardening fan called Penny raved about the outdoor butterfly lights after picking one up in store.

She showed off how well it works with a picture of her illuminated gardenin the middle of the night as she said: “4am still light.”

Other shoppers are just as impressed, as they’ve been racing to Aldi to pick one up.

“I got some today love canot wait until tonight”, one said.

A second wrote: “I’ve just put 3 in my garden.”

“Ohh I want one of those”, cried a third.

A fourth begged a loved one: “If u see any of these please will u get me some?”

A fifth chimed in: “I picked 1 up for me and 1 for my dad.”

Meanwhile, a sixth said: “Got me a few of these today … had to dig in the basket to find these ones tho it was mainly the bubble ones phewwwww just in time to grab the last 2 very happy bunny.”
