The stopper is set to step in for Prime FC’s regular No1 Toby Bull – who turns out for non-league side Dulwich Hamlet.

According to the BBC’s Dominic Dietrich, a medical waiver has been signed in order to allow Rees to play.

The Under-18s ace will therefore do so with Derby’s blessing.

Rees joined Derby’s academy from Swansea in 2024.

He has since regularly acted as backup stopper for the Rams’ Under-18s.

The Welshman will link up with Timmy Abraham on Monday, brother of England international Tammy.

Timmy, 25, was previously on the books at Fulham and played in the EFL for Plymouth Argyle, Bristol Rovers and Walsall.

Several active non-league players have signed up to play in Baller League.

Sixth-tier Dover Athletic sacked Francis Mampolo and Alfie Matthews for playing in Baller League without their permission.

National League Wealdstone, meanwhile, confirmed that they had not been approached after their player Sak Hassan popped up in the Copper Box competition last month – before later revealing that he had breached his contract.

KSI, 32, recently completed the purchase of Wealdstone’s National League rivals Dagenham & Redbridge.

When asked if he could pop up in the Dagenham dugout at some point, the YouTuber said: “No, I’ll stick to Baller League.”
