The mother died on May 3 alongside Ryan Kelly, 41, after he “forced entry” into her parents’ home and deliberately set off an “explosive device” inside the Bristol property, cops said.
Jo has been praised for her “heroic” actions as it’s believed she instructed her young child to go outside and play on a trampoline before the deadly detonation.
A GoFundMe page has been made to offer support for her immediate family, including ongoing help for Jo’s young son and parents whose home was damaged by the explosion.
The fundraiser, which has already raised £15,185 within two days, shared a touching poem written by Jo where she describes the “precious” bond with her family as “unbreakable” and how they’re “always with me, no matter where we are”.

Joanne’s family said she put “herself between danger and those she loved” in the “ultimate sacrifice”.
Emergency services who attended the scene performed CPR on Jo but were forced to leave the area when explosive ordnance disposal teams arrived.
One friend commented on the GoFundMe site: “Most heartbreaking of all is knowing her little boy now has to grow up without his mum.”
“To know someone so full of life has been taken so tragically is something many of us are still struggling to process.”
Jo reportedly moved back in with her parents to escape Ryan, and repeatedly called police about his concerning behaviour prior to her death.
Ryan was previously jailed for five years for his role in a “Breaking Bad” drug gang where he supplied cocaine.
Avon and Somerset Police said Jo and Kelly had a history of domestic incidents known to officers and has referred itself to the police watchdog over the incident.
In a statement on the GoFundMe page, her family said: “Jo was one of the most caring and selfless people anyone could have known.
“She always put others before herself and brought light, warmth, and kindness to everyone around her.
“Her child was her entire world. Anyone who knew Jo knew she would have done anything to protect them. No child should ever have to experience such a loss.
“Their world has been turned upside down, losing the person who loved them unconditionally, who made them feel safe, and who was always there for them.
“Tragically, alongside this loss, Jo’s family have also lost their home, leaving them without the place where they felt safe and secure.
“Jo had a beautiful way with words and often shared her thoughts through poetry. We wanted to share a few of her words, which feel especially meaningful now:
“‘My family’s tied together by an unbreakable, precious thread. Although it isn’t visible, we always know it’s there. Our bond cannot be broken; our souls will never part. My family’s always with me, no matter where we are.’
“We cannot begin to imagine the pain her child and family are facing, but we know they should not have to face it alone.
“We are asking for support to give Jo the farewell she deserves and to help provide stability for her child during the incredibly difficult time ahead.”
