The course is in Newton Square, Pennsylvania – 15 miles west of Philadelphia.
And one local resident has secured themselves arguably the best seat in the house – or the garden – without having a ticket.
Golf writer Dylan Dethier shared a brilliant video on social media during Wednesday’s practice round.
It showed Justin Rose on the 14th tee box – with his new McLaren clubs and bright orange bag.

But as the camera panned to the left, it revealed the amazing contraption.
Behind the blue netted fencing to mark the perimeter of the course, a group of young men stood on the DIY platform.
The five lads appeared to be enjoying some drinks on their homemade set-up.
The stage – seemingly a scaffold structure – standing high over the height of the fence.
That gave them the perfect view to watch the players on the 14th tee off.
And literally just a few yards away, they were well within speaking range of the players and caddies.
Dethier wrote: “Behind Aronimink’s 14th tee someone has built an enormous platform in their backyard.
“Incredible to place to watch the PGA.
“Also unlocks an entirely new level of golf bro.”
The video quickly went viral and prompted plenty of replies from fans in awe – but others were worried it may get taken down.
One said: “Looks like a Happy Gilmore structure.”
Another wrote: “Sell me a ticket to that platform.”
A third added: “New best seat in golf.”
And a final user commented: “They showed their cards too soon… the tarp will be raised by Friday.”
The world’s biggest stars – including Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy – will hope to impress the pals with their drives as they battle it out for major glory.
