Russian President Vladimir Putin would visit China from May 19-20 for talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, just days after US President Donald Trump concluded his high-profile Beijing trip, the Kremlin said on Saturday.Putin and China’s President Xi Jinping would discuss bilateral relations and exchange views on key international and regional issues, the Kremlin said in a statement.The two leaders are also likely to sign a joint declaration marking the 25th anniversary of the Russia-China Treaty of Good-Neighbourliness and Cooperation.The visit comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions over the Iran conflict, Taiwan and the Ukraine war, with Moscow and Beijing projecting closer coordination following the Trump-Xi summit in Beijing earlier this week.
