IT appears as though Bruno Guimaraes and Joe Willock have made amends after nearly clashing on the pitch during Newcastle’s 3-1 win over West Ham.
In the dying embers of the contest at St James’ Park, Newcastle‘s skipper appeared to vent his frustration at not receiving the ball from Willock as he marauded down the left hand side.

Willock took exception to the Brazilian’s words and could be seen mouthing many expletive-laden insults Guimaraes’ way.
Bruno exploded over towards the former Arsenal man, but several team-mates, including the six-foot-seven Dan Burn, prevented the situation from escalating any further.
Willock posted on Instagram a day after the win and his captain was one of the first to comment.
Guimaraes wrote: “Friends again,” with a crying with laughter emoji and a heart eyes emoji.

“Great A willockinho.”
Willock replied: “My captain.”
Fans immediately recalled the fight between Lee Bowyer and Kieron Dyer back in 2005 on the very same pitch during their time as Magpies.

Both men were sent off on the day as Aston Villa cruised to a 3-0 win, but the altercation remains one of the most infamous team-mate brawls in Premier League history.
Luckily for the Toon, Guimaraes and Willock were not allowed to take things to that extreme.
It has been a frustrating season on Tyneside with the club 20 points worse off than the year prior ahead of their win over West Ham.
It’s no coincidence their worst run of form ran alongside Guimaraes’ extended spell on the sidelines.
