WHEN mega-rich Gillian Bayford split from husband Adrian just 15-months after they scooped the EuroMillions jackpot, she hoped for a fresh start.
Gillian blamed the £148million lotto win in August 2012 for ending their marriage, saying: “The money was supposed to make everybody happy. But it’s made them demanding and greedy.”

She moved to Dundee, Scotland, settling into a stunning £1.2million, six bed Victorian mansion, while ex-postman Adrian found love with a stable girl, 16 years his junior.
Gillian, 52, was thrilled to settle back into her homeland and appeared to finally find happiness when she met property developer Brian Deans in 2018.
She married Deans at the five-star Fairmont Hotel near St Andrews, less than a year after she dumped ex Gavin Innes for being a “gold digger”.
Her and Deans had daughter Emilie together two years later, but insiders claimed the marriage began to fall apart as he splurged millions on an out-of-control lifestyle.

Convicted fraudster Deans had allegedly signed a pre-nup so he couldn’t get his hands on Gillian’s lotto millions.
But the 45-year-old, caged for six months in 2012 for stealing £13,500 from a Tesco in Dundee, was accused of blowing around £5million of her lotto cash.
He spent the money on cars, watches and luxury holidays and Gillian gave him hundreds of thousands of pounds for investments.
The couple ultimately separated at the start of 2024, divorcing in April last year.

But 12-months on from their divorce it seems mum-of-three Gillian isn’t rid of her freeloading ex.

The Jattvibe has learned Deans still owes Gillian as much as £1million. According to financial records he has two personal companies which are in huge debt and face a potential investigation.
Deans set up a property investment business, BGD Property Developments Ltd, in September 2018 – just one week before he and Gillian got hitched.
Paperwork filed with Companies House reveal that Gillian lent Deans’ firm cash for four properties from March 2019 to 2021.
These were registered as five charges – including one floating charge over all the firm’s assets – and four are still outstanding.
The company has been warned by Companies House that it’ll be struck off for failing to file accounts since June 2023.
But this action has been suspended, which occurs when a creditor objects – and it’s likely Gillian has done this.
This is the second time a compulsory strike off has been objected, the first time being just six months after they split in March 2024.

Companies House has to be notified, and the debt issue resolved, or it could result in an investigation and the firm going into liquidation.
The last accounts – which are four-years-old – shows that it owes £448,845 to creditors and Deans himself has borrowed £141,926 from the business with his director’s loan account being overdrawn.
Four of the five charges listed on Dean’s financial record has Gillian Bayford-Deans named as the lender.
But while records show Deans has at least £500,000 debt, it’s believed he borrowed much more from Gillian, likely closer to the £1million mark.
Deans claimed that he left Gillian of his own accord and was reportedly running a pub in Auchterarder, Perthshire after their split.
It’s not known if there’s a link, but a pub firm called BGD Golf Inn Ltd – run solely by Deans – was compulsorily struck off the Companies House register in August 2025.
The business had failed to file accounts for three years and was £39k in debt.
Like his property firm, the forced closure was initially suspended in July 2025 after a creditor objection, but the following month it was finally dissolved.

Just days after divorcing Gillian, Deans popped the question to his new love Summer Rae.
Single mum Summer shared a picture on social media of her beaming with delight as she showed off her flashy engagement ring.
For Gillian, who walked away with a whopping £74million from her divorce from ex Adrian, she won’t lose any sleep over her ex.
His debt to her is a drop in the ocean and she couldn’t care less that he has moved on.
As one pal said: “Gillian was just glad to be rid of him. She is delighted with how everything has worked out and she’s looking to the future.”
