Slot won the league with the Anfield outfit last season but after a record-breaking transfer window has seen them cascade down to fifth in the table going into the final weekend of the season.
A 4-2 defeat to Europa League winners Aston Villa in their penultimate game of the season left them vulnerable to not finishing in the Champions League places with Bournemouth breathing down their necks.
As a result the club are considering the Dutchman’s future.

Liverpool chiefs want to appoint outgoing Cherries boss Andoni Iraola if they give Slot the boot.
However, a return for fan-favourite and title-winning boss Klopp would be hard to turn up if the opportunity presented itself.
