IAN WRIGHT hilariously abandoned the Sky Sports panel on his very first day in a new punditry role with Sky to celebrate with Arsenal’s title-winning stars.
The former England striker, 62, was part of Sky’s coverage as Arsenal lifted the Premier League trophy after the final-day clash at Crystal Palace.

But the Gunners legend could not resist joining the wild celebrations on the Selhurst Park pitch.
Wright was seen laughing and hugging people during Arsenal’s celebrations, as players, families and friends filled the pitch following the trophy presentation.
And in a brilliant moment, forward Gabriel Martinelli even placed his Premier League winner’s medal around Wright’s neck.
The Arsenal hero looked emotional as he soaked in the scenes after the North Londoners ended their 22-year wait to become champions.

Back in the panel, former Manchester City player Micah Richards and Sky Sports presenter Dave Jones could barely believe Wright had disappeared from his punditry duties.
Richards burst out laughing and said: “Does he know he’s working?”
Jones then joked: “We’ve just signed him and we lost him already.”
Fans on X loved the scenes as Wright fully embraced Arsenal’s historic title celebrations.
