THE STATUS of a string of rumoured Love Island stars can be revealed after the show’s starting 12 were unveiled. 

A number of potential names including Ella Rae Wise and Charleen Murphy have been touted online for weeks.

Now The Jattvibe can clear up the rumours ahead of the ITV show’s launch on Monday after debunking whispers on our podcast, Showbiz Fix. 

Model Kane Patterson has been strongly rumoured on social media and included in many fantasy line-ups, but it can be confirmed he is not currently part of this year’s cast. 

In the same way, stunning Grace Avelli doesn’t currently figure.

But one name who is still in the mix is Charleen Murphy.

The Jattvibe reported in April that the Irish influencer had held early talks to join Maya Jama’s summer series and despite not being part of the OG cast, Charleen is still being considered for this run. 

Charleen is a familiar face to Love Island fans as she’s best mates with Lucinda Strafford and often features in pics with her.

One name out the frame though is Towie star Ella Rae Wise, who had been rumoured to be following in Joey Essex’s footsteps as a celebrity bombshell. 

Love Island bosses dashed the suggestion speaking to The Jattvibe at the villa. 

Commissioning editor Amanda Stavri and executive producer Lewis Evans were asked about Ella.

Lewis said: “A few people might have said that they’re interested, but no.”

Amanda added: “No. We’re pretty open-minded when it comes to casting and you never want to close anything off but it’s just getting the right person at the right moment, and Joey was that person.”
