CONVICTED murderer Mackenzie Shirilla – who killed her boyfriend and their friend after purposefully driving into a brick wall – has racked up a string of X-rated and bizarre prison infractions behind bars.

Shirilla, 21, has been punished for everything from accused sexual contact with another inmate and a sexual video call, to hiding a block of cheese in her hoodie.

She is serving 15 years to life for double murder after deliberately crashing her car into a building at 100mph in July 2022, killing her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, and their friend, Davion Flanagan.

Her case has exploded once again after the success of the Netflix documentary, The Crash.

Disciplinary records obtained exclusively by The U.S. Jattvibe from the Ohio Reformatory for Women reveal a chaotic pattern of behavior inside prison walls.

Shirilla has been incarcerated at the Marysville facility for nearly three years, following her formal sentencing in August 2023.

In the past two years, Shirilla has been hit with a total of 13 separate disciplinary charges across 11 different conduct reports.

Yet, throughout her multiple run-ins with correctional staff, Shirilla has frequently pushed back, denying allegations, offering excuses, or claiming ignorance of prison regulations.

Among the most shocking allegations are claims Shirilla took part in a sexual video call and communicated with banned individuals through the prison’s video visitation system.

One incident on September 22, 2025, allegedly involved a video call featuring another person using a sex toy on camera, according to disciplinary findings tied to the restriction.

She allegedly flashed her breast to the person, before they then allegedly showed Shirilla “her breast with a ***** sticking out of her pants twice”.

The woman then walked naked into the fame.

Shirilla, who admitted the call, was hit with a 60-day video visitation ban over unauthorized communications and visitation violations.

Months earlier, on April 29, 2025, she was caught having over 100 video visits with an unapproved ex-inmate under a falsified video ID name.

Confronted with the infraction, Shirilla chose not to offer a statement at her hearing, though she ultimately pled guilty to violating visitation rules.

The records further reveal accusations of sexual misconduct behind bars.

On August 1, 2025, Shirilla was accused of consensual sexual contact after a guard reported seeing another inmate removing a hand from Shirilla’s “buttocks region.”

Unlike other infractions where she admitted guilt, Shirilla pushed back and denied the interaction.

During her hearing on August 4, 2025, she insisted, “I did not allow her to touch me and I have never had a sex ticket and this is not me. I dont do that kind of stuff (sic).”

But the prison’s strict Rules Infraction Board wasn’t buying her story.

Camera footage and witness statements resulted in her being slapped with a seven day stretch in solitary confinement.

News of the incident comes after The U.S. Jattvibe spoke to Shirilla’s alleged prison ex-girlfriend, Shyann Topping, who claimed she had a brief relationship with her at the prison.

Shyann, who has been left disgusted after learning the full facts of Shirilla’s case, claimed they would often sneak around and be intimate and she has had multiple relationships with other women in jail.

The disciplinary files also show repeated issues involving altered prison clothing deemed too form-fitting by staff, something Shyann also claimed in her interview.

It has been widely reported that Shirilla is obsessed with her image and before being locked up would regularly post videos and photos of her posing and showing off her figure.

In one conduct report on April 30, 2025, officers said Shirilla became argumentative after staff attempted to confiscate an altered hoodie.

She had previously been warned by prison officials that the sweatshirt was considered contraband because it had allegedly been tailored to fit tightly around her body.

When officers told her she needed to remove it, Shirilla claimed she was not properly dressed underneath it.

Staff escorted her to a restroom so they could ensure she was appropriately clothed before confiscating the item.

The report states that when prison staff raised concerns over her appearance, Shirilla snapped, “If he got a boner from the way I’m dressed that’s his fault.”

Officers said Shirilla then unzipped the hoodie to reveal her prison-issued shirt “completely unbuttoned” with only a sports bra underneath.

The conduct report described her as “very disrespectful” throughout the interaction.

However, Shirilla offered a completely different version of events to the hearing officer on May 6, 2025.

Denying the crude remark and the disrespect, she claimed, “I went to the bathroom with her, I never said that, I did what they told me I was not being disrespectful.”

She also argued that the clothes were not completely unbuttoned and they were not form-fitting, stating she was simply upset that the official was solely focused on what she was wearing.

While a specific duplicate ticket containing her alleged comment was removed, the primary ticket for the clothing alteration stood, and a Warden’s review on May 26, 2025, affirmed she was guilty of disobedience and possessing contraband.

The records paint a picture of repeated disciplinary issues ranging from minor rule-breaking to institutional violations.

Shirilla was also repeatedly cited for “being out of place.”

When caught talking on her tablet in a second-floor dayroom after recreation hours had closed on May 16, 2024, Shirilla claimed simple ignorance, stating: “I just didn’t know.”

In another instance on November 30, 2024, she was cited for walking between prison buildings while the yards were closed.

Shirilla attempted to defend herself by telling the hearing officer, “I have my early eaters badge.”

The defense fell flat when staff noted her assigned job with Health and Safety did not work past 4pm.

In a separate incident on November 16, 2024, where she was caught standing and talking to another inmate in an unauthorized location, she simply claimed, “I don’t remember.”

Additional reports describe Shirilla dancing outside the gym, disobeying direct orders, and repeatedly possessing contraband items.

Other incidents outlined in the reports include allegations that Shirilla stole items taken from a prison craft room known as Kindware, where inmates create handmade goods.

Following a massive cell search on September 4 that same year, officials claimed she was found with a haul of property stolen from “Kindware and other areas” of the prison, including paint tubes, wire, and homemade jewelry.

Shirilla admitted to the contraband charge but aggressively denied the stealing charge at her hearing, claiming, “i did not steal anything /i got it from… i like to paint cups, she gave me the stuff i paid 10 for each kind ware (sic).

Among the stranger allegations was a conduct report on November 11, 2024, accusing Shirilla of hiding a block of cheese and a package of noodles inside her hoodie during a random search, alongside wearing an altered state hoodie adorned with beads.

In another case involving a search of her cell on January 16, 2025, guards found an unknown packet of medication and a photo showing drug use.

Shirilla admitted to possessing the pills but vehemently denied that the photo or the medication were illicit.

She told staff during her hearing, “It did not have drug use in it. The pills was prenatal vitamins I got from anther (sic).”

Despite several guilty findings, some charges against Shirilla were later dismissed or reduced following administrative review – occasionally because prison camera footage proved she was telling the truth.

On February 6, 2026, she was given a 90-day commissary restriction after disobeying a direct order to stop aggressively knocking on a closed staff office door.

She expressed remorse at her hearing, stating, “I’m sorry for going to the door and I won’t do it again.”

However, in May 2026, she successfully defeated two separate tickets back-to-back.

First, on May 6, 2026, she was accused of mumbling and rolling her eyes at a guard after complaining about having to move property to the vault.

She offered no statement, but the Hearing Officer found her not guilty because the “body of [the] conduct report doesn’t match camera footage”.

Just days later, she was ticketed for a “refusal to carry out a job assignment” after allegedly failing to report to food service at 4.35am on May 8, 2026.

Shirilla denied the charge and stated, “I was at the door waiting to go out.”

A review of the facility’s milestone camera footage vindicated her, proving she was actively standing at the door at 4.30am trying to go to work and she was cleared of the charge.

Her streak of compliance didn’t last long, however; she skipped her food service shift the very next day on May 9, 2026, pleading guilty at her hearing because she mistakenly “thought [she] had a visit.”
