The Saturday mass shooting left 12 people wounded and stemmed from “a dispute involving two rival groups,” police said Tuesday. The oldest victim is 61 years old and the youngest is 14, police Lt. Dan Gerken said Saturday. He added that most of the victims were in their early 20s. “While investigators believe some of the victims are intentionally targeted, the majority of those injured appear to have been innocent bystanders caught up in this senseless act of violence,” Toledo Police Chief Michael Troendle said Tuesday.Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a second suspect.via Toledo Police DepartmentPolice have estimated that three of the victims were involved in the dispute between groups, and the other nine were caught in the crossfire. All of the victims are expected to survive, and nine have already been released from the hospital.
