Donning a sharp pair of sunglasses on Palm Beach with some of his team-mates including Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot, CR7 was videoed strolling around on the sand.

His toned chest and legs were on display with two wristbands on his right hand and a white fitness watch on the left.

Videos of the Al-Nassr forward – who is set to appear at his SIXTH World Cup – have him standing hands on hips by a set of beach chairs and umbrellas.

As he looks on, Ronaldo appears to catch sight of people recording him, throwing one arm in the air in frustration.

His side are due to face DR Congo in their group stage opener on Wednesday in Houston.

That is over 1,000 miles away from the Florida base camp after Roberto Martinez‘s men touched down over the weekend.

Ronaldo, 41, remains a controversial pick in the squad having been largely ineffective at Qatar 2022, when he was still playing at the top level.

But Ronaldo left Manchester United for a second time shortly after that tournament.

Since then he swapped Europe’s elite for the Middle East and has been banging goals in for fun in the Saudi Pro League.

The all-time top international scorer of all time has bagged 123 from 142 matches so far in Al-Nassr colours.

His role for the national team is more up for debate with a fierce and dynamic midfield and attack on display.

And Ronaldo has shot down suggestions that he’s not at it anymore, saying: “Physically? I’m fine, haven’t you watched the matches?”

He helped his new club team to win the Pro League last season – his first piece of silverware since moving.

Ronaldo and Co also have to play Uzbekistan and Columbia as they seek to progress from Group K.

They travel the long distance to Houston for the first two games before a short trip across to Miami.
