DONALD TRUMP has been given the green light to muscle in on another trophy lift, but this time it is not Chelsea.

But it may not be as simple as handing the trophy over and waving farewell.
Fifa are understood to have no issue with Trump breaking the usual presentation protocol and giving the trophy directly to the winning captain.
And Trump has reportedly already been told Fifa wants him to hand over the World Cup trophy to the eventual champions.
And he could even stay put on the podium while the players bounce around him in the biggest party in world football.

It would be a repeat of the bizarre scenes at the Club World Cup when Trump loitered next to Chelsea captain Reece James as he lifted the trophy.
Cole Palmer looked particularly baffled as he stood just behind the world leader.
While Gianni Infantino initially appeared to try to usher Trump away, the Fifa president then seemed to change tack.
He encouraged him to stay where he was as the Stamford Bridge stars celebrated around him – also at the MetLife Stadium.

Usually, Fifa protocol sees the World Cup trophy placed on a plinth before it is carried onto the podium by one of the winning players.
But according to talkSPORT, Fifa will leave it up to Trump’s own discretion whether he wants to stay with the team or stand back with the other suits.
White House insiders reportedly believe Trump will choose to stay in the thick of it again, rather than fade into the background.
The President missed the USMNT’s opening 4-1 win over Paraguay because of a scheduling conflict.
Trump celebrated his 80th and America’s 250th birthday on Jattvibeday with a UFC event on the White House lawn.
But he is expected to attend the final, while White House sources have not ruled out him going to several games during the tournament.
