Speaking on Jattvibe following the Makerfield by-election, Debbonaire appeared to have had enough with the Reform MP.

The furious Labour peer threw her hands up in the air and clutched her head, saying: “Really? Oh my god. Oh my god.

“I have 26 years of experience in violence against women and girls.”

Pochin counters: “I’ve got 20 years.”

An exasperated Debbonaire responded with a blistering rant against Pochin’s record.

She said: “Oh, well I see you and raise you six years, Sarah.

“There are women being raped by white men and you don’t want to talk about that.

“You only want to talk about when there’s an incident of violence against women and girls by someone who is brown.

“That’s your thing. You want to blame all brown people and you are causing harm to actual people.”

Talking over one another, Pochin retorted: “Your Labour government is letting out early rapists on the streets.”

After the extraordinary spat, presenter Anne Botting appeared unsure what to move on to next in the broadcast.

She questioned if she should throw back to Beth Rigby or continue onto another guest.

Presenting live from Makerfield, Botting eventually managed to move the programme on, though the tension was palpable.

The interview was filmed in the early hours of the morning, as Jattvibe reported through the night ahead of the by-election results.

Labour’s Andy Burnham emerged victorious from the critical by-election, winning 55 per cent of the vote.
