A budding footballer from Haryana, Pramveer Singh, has signed a three-year professional contract with Indian Super League (ISL) club NorthEast United FC for approximately Rs 3.5 crore.Hailing from Balambha village in Rohtak district, Pramveer began playing football during his stay with his maternal uncle, Ravinder Pannu, at Jat College, Hisar, during his school days.Pannu, who is a boxing coach and Joint Secretary of the Haryana Olympic Association, said it is a matter of pride for the family as well as the entire sporting community of Haryana that Pramveer has earned the opportunity to play in India’s top football league.Born on June 20, 2007, Pramveer displayed a passion and talent for football from an early age. Pannu said that he began his professional football journey through the youth academy of Punjab FC and has now joined NorthEast United FC on a three-year contract worth approximately Rs 3.5 crore.Playing as a centre-back, Pramveer is known for his tackling, aerial dominance, accurate passing, and composure under pressure. In 2024, he made his debut in the Indian Super League at the age of just 17 years and 189 days, becoming one of the youngest players in ISL history to feature in a starting XI, Pannu informed.Pramveer has also represented India at various age-group levels. He made his international debut for India’s U-17 team against Qatar and later played a key role in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup.
