THE evil stepfather of tragic toddler Baby P has lost his sixth bid to be freed from prison.
Steven Barker got 12 years in 2009 for his role in the death of 17-month-old Peter Connelly.

He was also handed a life sentence and ordered to serve a minimum ten years at a separate trial for raping a child.
His last parole bid was in 2024.
He was referred to the board again last month but the application has been refused.
Barker has 28 days to request an oral hearing.

A source said: “A refusal on paper does not look good for his bid.
“He’s such a brazen and sick person he is likely to try and push this all the way and go for a full hearing.
“I am sure those impacted by his horrific crimes will be pleased at this initial decision and will be hoping that is the last of it.”
Baby Peter died in 2007 in Tottenham, North London, following months of abuse.
His mum Tracey was jailed for causing or allowing his death.
She was freed in 2013 and 2022 but recalled for breaching conditions.
