Kate has made multiple appearances at Wimbledon over the years

She plans to watch a match at an outer court with former tennis ace Tim Henman and chair of the AELTC Deborah Jevans, and Tim Henman.
And Kate will also meet children from Shine Camera Club, a creative photography programme based within the charity SHINE Merton which supports children from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop confidence, creativity and self-expression through photography.
Shine Camera Club was founded in 2021 by photographer, creative practitioner and community activist Cindy Sasha.
It ensures that children in Mitcham, many of whom face significant barriers to cultural participation, could access high-quality photography education free of charge.
In 2025, Shine Camera Club took part in The Championships, Wimbledon learning programme.
Students created a portrait series celebrating community trailblazers, which was later exhibited at the Wimbledon Qualifiers.
This year, the children will spend the day taking photos of The Championships, and Her Royal Highness will join them to learn about the charity and view the photos they’ve taken.
The Princess of Wales is a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
In December 2016, Queen Elizabeth II stepped down as the Patron of the AELTC after 64 years, officially passing the prestigious role to Kate.
Traditionally, avid tennis fan Kate watches a number of matches in the Royal Box and later present champions with their trophies at the end of the tournament.
All of the royal children are said to enjoy tennis, including Prince Louis, and have inherited the sporty prowess of their mother.
Kate was first photographed in the stands as a regular spectator in 2007.
Shortly after her wedding to Prince William, she made her debut in the Royal Box in June 2011.
