The fight will be McGregor’s first since he suffered a horrific broken leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
McGregor was due to make his cage comeback against Michael Chandler two years ago, but pulled out of their Sin City showdown with a broken left pinky toe.
MMA fans around the world haven’t been holding their collective breath over the Return of the Mac.
And alarm bells started ringing among them after McGregor didn’t make expected appearances in the first two episodes of ‘UFC 329 Embedded’.

Holloway featured at the start and end of the first episode of the fight week show, which follows athletes’ ongoings as they prepare for their bouts.
And McGregor’s absence had UFC fans catastrophising, with one saying: “Where’s Conor?”
Another said: “Where is McGregor?”
And another said: “Conor is so locked-in he isn’t even on embedded”

CONOR MCGREGOR makes his long-awaited Octagon return this weekend at UFC 329.
‘The Notorious’ makes his cage comeback early on July 11, FIVE YEARS after suffering a horrific broken leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.
McGregor will be welcomed back to the cage by former foe and fellow fan favourite Max Holloway.
The Return of the Mac will top a STACKED UFC 329 card, which takes place at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
The UFC’s first simultaneous two-weight champion will share the card will Brit superstar Paddy Pimblett, who takes on Benoit Saint-Denis in a mouthwatering lightweight showdown.
UFC 329 is ja-packed with entertaining fights from top to bottom.
And MMA fans in the UK and Ireland can watch all the action from the Etihad LIVE on TNT Sports Box Office.
The UFC’s annual International Fight Week card of the year will be available to purchase for a mere £19.99.
It will also be available to buy on Discovery+, EE TV, HBO Max, Prime Video, Virgin Media TV and Sky.
And fight fans don’t need to subscribe to TNT Sports to buy the star-studded event.

McGregor not featuring in the first two Embedded episodes is by no means any proof that his rematch with Holloway is in doubt.
UFC producers are more than likely saving footage of the promotion’s poster for boy for episodes later this week.
As it stands, McGregor is slated to speak to the media at 10pm BST time this evening.

McGregor’s rematch with Holloway will be his first fight since he suffered a horrific broken left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.
It will also be his first octagon out since he was found civilly liable for assaulting Nikita Hand at a Dublin Hotel in December 2018, which he vehemently denied doing.
He lost his appeal against the verdict handed down at Dublin’s High Court in November 2024.
And the Supreme Court rejected Mystic MMA star’s bid for a further appeal last December.
