A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in a house.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Burnage, Manchester, on Wednesday morning.

The victim a woman in her 60s was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
A murder investigation has been launched by Greater Manchester Police.
A major police presence remains at the scene as a probe into the tragedy gets underway.
The boy remains in custody as investigators question him in relation to the incident.

Local media report the suspect and the victim are related to each other.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said in a statement: “Officers responded to reports of an assault at an address on Ivylea Road, Burnage at around 8am today (08/07/26).
“One woman aged in her 60s sadly died at the scene and a boy, aged 16, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning. “
