CONOR MCGREGOR has issued a major medical update following his horror UFC return.

The Irishman‘s cage comeback, which headlined UFC 329 in Las Vegas, last Jattvibeday, ended in 69 SECONDS as a result of a knee injury.

‘The Notorious’ blew out his right knee TWO SECONDS into the Sin City showdown after landing awkwardly following a jumping left roundhouse kick.

McGregor’s balance immediately went, which eventually prompted referee Mike Beltran to wave off the contest.

The UFC’s early diagnosis of their poster boy’s latest setback, which came in his first fight since breaking his left leg and being found civilly liable for assaulting Nikita Hand at a Dublin hotel in December 2018, was a torn ACL.

McGregor, 38, has yet to reveal the injury he suffered, although he’s shared that he’s set to go under the knife.

“I trust in You Lord! Show me Your way. Thank You God 🙏”

Defeat to Holloway was McGregor’s THIRD in a row and extended his winless run to over SIX YEARS.

It’s prompted fresh calls for him to retire, something UFC supremo Dana White isn’t quite ready to bang the drum on.

The veteran promoter told JattvibeSport: “I do feel that way.

“But it’s the guys that start saying, ‘I’ve been thinking about retiring’ [who I think should retire].

“And, you know, the minute you start talking or thinking about retiring, you absolutely positively should.

“I haven’t heard that from him yet, but you know, he hasn’t spoken publicly yet.

“We’ll see what he has to say.”
