The Nuke blitzed his way to an 18-9 victory, hitting SIX 100+ checkouts along the way.

He stormed to a remarkable final despite Welshman Price averaging well over a ton himself – and playing to a staggering level.
Littler nailed a 167 in the fourth leg to break throw and then surged away, never to be caught.

He had four three-figure checkouts after 11 legs (8-3 up at the time) and had nailed three bullseyes before the fourth break.
Having not hit one all tournament, it was a display of masterful control and power.

Chasing Phil Taylor’s tournament average record, Littler made it eight matches in a row when he has been above 105, streaking to an enormous 111 in this one alone, and the same for the entire tournament.
And nothing Price could do would stop Littler – even if it was enough to win most matches.
On commentary for Sky Sports, Wayne Mardle suggested this could even be the peak of Littler.
It said everything that at 14-7 up, Littler broke his own tournament 180 record, surpassing the 64 he set last year.

And it was nearly double that of Price, who tried his best to keep up with the otherworldly Littler.
Even in his best spell of the match, the Nuke found a 148 to move to within two legs of reclaiming the trophy.
Littler ended with 12 four-visit legs out of the 27 played.
The world No1, who continues to set records almost every time he steps up to the oche, bulldozed his way to the aptly-named Phil Taylor Trophy.
And in the week he made it £3MILLION in prize money on the rankings, this was as much of a statement as anything he has done.
