SHAMED EastEnders star Shane Richie’s son took a swipe at his dad’s drink drive arrest last night.
Shane Jr, 37, hosted an evening with his mum Coleen Nolan called This Is Me at Bush Hall in Shepherd’s Bush, days after his dad’s arrest at a Tesco petrol station.

Alfie Moon actor Richie, 62, will appear at Colchester Magistrates Court on Sep 9. Footage showed him arguing with staff who challenged him over his use of a vape beside petrol pumps.
Warming up the audience before his mum came on stage, Shane Jnr poked fun at his dad, saying he was drinking before his mum’s event but would not be driving the three-hour trip back to his home in Stoke, Staffs, with his partner and baby son.

He told the audience: “The more you drink the funnier I get. Is anyone having a drink tonight? But remember don’t drink and drive. Don’t do it.”
The gag was met with heckles, some of which were boos.

Shane continued: “What? What? I am driving home… there is lots to talk about. What am I doing after the show? I am taking my eight month old baby and my beautiful girlfriend back to Staffordshire. That is what I am doing. I won’t be driving. I am drinking tonight.”
He then spoke more directly about both of his parents with a flurry of tongue-in-cheek jokes.
Shane Snr and Coleen married in 1990. Their relationship lasted for seven years before Shane cheated, leading to their divorce in 1999.
“Let’s get this out of the way. My dad is Shane Richie and my mum is Coleen Nolan,” he began.
“I have got my dad’s personality and my mum’s t*ts. It’s very unfortunate for me. If you have enjoyed me tonight, I am Shane Richie’s son. If you haven’t, I am Bradley Walsh‘s son.”
Shane used to share his dad’s surname before switching to his mum’s maiden name nine years ago.
Joking about the change, he said: “My name is Shane. Shane Nolan not Richie… let’s make that clear. I was Shane Richie for years but then mum won Celebrity Big Brother and I changed it.
“I used to be called Shane Richie Jnr and I changed it to Shane Nolan. A lot of people have asked me why and it is because I just go with the parent who is most famous to get paid more. I have to admit my mum is smashing it.”
