NEW ITV show Chase Around The World has landed in a new ‘fix’ row, with fans convinced the brainy chasers aren’t playing to their full potential.
The series is a spin-off of much-loved teatime classic The Chase and sees the Chasers and the show’s contestants compete across some of Europe’s most famous landmarks.

But last night’s episode, which was the series’ fourth instalment, had some fans convinced that the answers were ‘set up’.

Chasers such as The Beast and The Vixen are acclaimed for their top IQ scores, with The Beast – real name Mark Labbett – in the top tier of cognitive capability.
Last night, when contestants Nikita and Ashwin faced him and The Vixen to stay in the game, the chasers had to get just ten questions right in 1 minute in 6 seconds.

But when it came to crunch time, the Vixen got two questions incorrect in a row, with The Beast then getting one question about perfume wrong and another about Madonna incorrect.
He also answered ‘pass’ on a question about ballroom dancing – meaning the top quizzers had failed to answer five questions between them.
The amount of incorrect answers, hesitation and passes from the chasers was a far cry from their usual sharp form – fans noticed.
One wrote to X: “Think that must’ve been set up because I don’t get how the chasers would make that many mistakes #thechasearoundtheworld“.
A second wrote: “The Beast had a heck of a bad work day tonight.”
“Has to be set up! Never get that many wrong,” echoed a third.
