FRAZER CLARKE needed two rounds to win one of the mismatches of the year.
The 2020 Olympic bronze medal winner took on 19st journeyman Lamah Griggs – with the underdog only getting three days’ notice.

The 35-year-old Team GB hero deserved a soft-touch return after losing three of his last four bouts and suffering a career-threatening jaw fracture against Fabio Wardley in 2024.
But 34-year-old Griggs hadn’t won a bout since 2023, was blatantly out of shape and did well to survive the climb up to ring, let alone the rounds.

Clarke, a towering 6ft 6in Adonis, instantly targeted Griggs’ tattooed torso, slashing hooks down into his well-insulated ribs.
The fearless show saver was given a handful of chances to take a dive to preserve his purse and safety but boxed on with honour.

Then a big right to the head missed but a whipped hook to the body dropped Griggs.
The Nottingham man was insanely brave in the second too, throwing a risky right hand and giving Frazer a warning.
But he was eventually backed into his own blue corner and scythed down to the Leeds canvas.
