A WOMAN in her 20s who was a passenger in a Smart car was killed in a after the vehicle struck a street cleaning vehicle.
Tragically she was pronounced dead at the scene after the horror crash shortly before midnight on Wednesday last week.
Cops arrested the driver, a man in his 20s, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving over the prescribed limit.
He was also arrested on suspicion of failing to provide a specimen for analysis and causing death by driving while uninsured.

Cops are appealing for witnesses after the fatal smash in Epsom, Surrey, at around 11.40pm, to come forward.
Ththe victim’s next of kin have been informed.

Christ Church Road was closed for several hours while officers carried out their initial enquiries.
The road reopened shortly after 9.45am.
Cops are now urging anyone who was in the area between 11.35pm and 11.40pm to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw the black Smart car in the moments before the crash.
They are also appealing for anyone with CCTV, dashcam or helmet cam footage which may have captured all or part of the incident.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
