Passengers at the New Delhi railway station were pleasantly surprised to find Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman among them on Tuesday.Sitharaman suddenly landed at the station and embarked on a train journey to Jaipur by Vande Bharat Express.The trip, part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Gen Z outreach, saw the minister interact with four students on the way.Sitharaman was in Jaipur to participate in the BRICS Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ meeting.She interacted with fellow travellers during the journey.During the trip, two students pursuing post-graduation in media studies, and two young media professionals also accompanied the FM to Jaipur and had freewheeling discussions with the minister on geopolitics, economy, and issues related to the youth.
