Over the last couple of years, rumours have circulated that the show could be brought back, and last month, fans begged for its return after two stars of the show reunited and shared a snap on social media.
Now Kim Tiddy – who played PC Honey Harman – has shared her thoughts on whether the show will return.

Speaking to Betway Slots on behalf of The Jattvibe, she said: “I’ve heard lots of rumours but nothing from any good sources.
“I’m still in contact with plenty of the old cast, and I know a lot of us would love it back on air.”

Kim – who also appeared in Hollyoaks – believes that The Bill could hold its own against today’s other police-based dramas,
She said: “I think it could work. People love police drama, and I think we handled things so well.
“We had police experts working with us to make sure everything was handled sensitively and realistically.
“It was a great show, and it still had a beloved fandom.”
Sadly, Kim’s character Honey was killed off when she was shot in the stomach by colleague, DC Zain Nadir.
But the actress doesn’t think it would be impossible for her to come back if the show was rebooted, saying: “Would I be up for a return? My character got rolled up in a rug and dumped in a river; who is to say she couldn’t have pulled a Dirty Den and escaped?”
