THE PFA Premier League Team of the Year has been revealed – with just two players not at Arsenal or Manchester City.
The gala evening took place at Manchester Opera House on Tuesday.

And in the vote among fellow professionals, they picked five of the Gunners’ title-winning squad.
Goalkeeper David Raya collected the golden glove for his 19 clean sheets and walked into the PFA team.

In front of him are three of the first-choice back four that won the league with Jurrien Timber joining centre-back pairing Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba.
Completing the defence is the first of four Manchester City stars, Nico O’Reilly at left-back.

The midfield has one from each of the top two – Declan Rice and Rayan Cherki.
And they are joined by Bruno Fernandes.
The Manchester United captain broke the record for the most assists in a Prem season with 21.
That saw him crowned Premier League and FWA footballer of the year.

There is no space for any Arsenal forwards in the front three.
Instead, the top three goalscorers line up together.
So the final three slots are filled by 27-goal Erling Haaland, 22-goal Igor Thiago of Brentford and 17-goal Antoine Semenyo, who swapped Bournemouth for the Etihad midway through the campaign.
Six of the 11 players in the Championship team of the year were part of the Coventry side that won promotion under Frank Lampard.
Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis and new Everton man Hayden Hackney, who shone for Middlesbrough, are also included.
The League One team has four Lincoln City stars plus Dom Ballard, who swapped Leyton Orient for Bristol City this summer – and has already scored a contender for goal of the season for the Robins.
League Two’s side featured three players apiece from promoted Bromley and MK Dons – plus two from Cambridge.
And the WSL team included England heroes Hannah Hampton (Chelsea), Alessia Russo (Arsenal), Lauren James (Chelsea) plus Manchester City goal machine Khadija Shaw.
