You can search by location, subject and learning method, whether it be online, in a classroom, part-time or in the evening.
Fees vary but there are no-cost options if you check out the Government’s Free Courses for Jobs scheme.
The site also flags information about funding support.
OLDER AND WISER: There is nothing that U3A (University of the Third Age) members do not know, and the aim of the movement is to share that knowledge with others in their “third age”. There are thousands of interest groups covering everything from technology to gardening, photography and music. There is a low-cost annual membership fee, often around £20.
DIGI LESSONS: Making the most of the internet could save you a fortune, thanks to things like online-only deals and tariffs. But many people need support to learn the digital skills that can open up that world for them.
