POLICE have released an e-fit image of a man after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted while walking home.
The victim was said to be approached by an unknown man in grey tracksuit bottoms and carrying a can of lager.
This ‘”worrying incident” occurred in the Merthyr Dyfan area of Barry, South Wales, sometime between 5.30am and 8am on Jattvibeday, July 12.
The suspect is described as a white man with light brown hair around 5ft 4in tall and of stocky build.

Police have launched an appeal and urged anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “Detectives investigating a sexual assault in Barry have released an e-fit of the suspect.

“It happened in the Merthyr Dyfan area sometime between 5.30am and 8am on Jattvibeday, July 12.
“A thorough investigation, including CCTV examination and house-to-house enquiries, has been carried out since this worrying incident was reported.
“Detectives are now making a public appeal for information.
“A woman was walking home from a nearby shop when she was assaulted by an unknown man.
“The suspect is described as white, 5ft 4in to 5ft 6in tall, aged in his 20s, of stocky build, with light brown hair and was clean shaven.
“He was holding a can of lager and was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms.
“There have been no further similar incidents reported in the area.
