LANDO NORRIS snapped while in the Formula One cooldown room after he appeared to be told off for drinking a can of coke.

The McLaren ace had just finished third in the inaugural Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid, after some rotten luck with a Virtual Safety Car that allowed Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen to jump ahead of him.

The trio shared the podium amid a frustrating afternoon for polesitter Norris as he was left unable to get an overtake done due to the difficulty of getting moves done around the Madring.

A fact highlighted by fuming fans on social media after the race.

Norris chilled out immediately after the race in the cooldown room, where he was seen drinking a can of Coca-Cola.

However, in a video that went viral the Brit barked back at a member of staff off screen who was seemingly telling him he was not allowed to drink it for sponsorship reasons due to F1 being sponsored by Pepsi.

After sitting down in between Antonelli and Verstappen, Norris looked over to his left before saying: “Am I getting told off?

“I just done a race so I’m allowed to drink what I would like.

“Thank you so much.”

After the exchange Norris went up to celebrate his P3 with the podium ceremony.
