KSI was offered an audacious fight against a former world heavyweight champion during a meeting with Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh.
The YouTuber-turned celebrity boxer joined forces with Alalshikh last year to help promote the Fatal Fury video game.

And during their meeting in London, the Middle Eastern fight financier suggested a bout between KSI and ex-heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder.

“No, I think Turki’s a great guy, he’s very passionate about boxing, and Deontay against KSI… it’s a funny old world if that happens someday.
“But when I heard that story that day, I was like, ‘We’re not doing that. We’re not doing that!’”

KSI, 33, is yet to fight again since defeat to Tommy Fury, 27, in October 2023.
His arch rival Jake Paul, 29, meanwhile did face two-time heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua, 36, last December in Miami.
And it resulted in a devastating sixth-round knockout loss and a broken jaw for Paul – with Taylor keen to avoid a repeat for his man.
He said: “Sometimes, you’ve got to protect people you care about, and it’s not always about the check.

“If KSI really said, ‘I want to do it,’ I would equally come back with the same amount of force saying, ‘No, you can’t. Not doing this, not on my watch.’
“Jake was very brave and ballsy to take the fight he did, but he suffered a broken jaw in two places for it.
“It’s a big paycheck, but you’ve got to decide if it’s worth it or not. Something like that was always going to happen with Anthony Joshua.
“I don’t think anyone who’s not delusional thought Jake had a chance in that fight, but he had balls to take it.
“Joshua really didn’t hold back, and he really could have hurt him a lot worse, too.
“Unless it was JJ’s dream to become a world champion – the Ring world champion and everything else, like ‘I want to be a heavyweight champion’ – which at his age is not a very feasible thing to want, I would not put him in that kind of situation.
“I’m okay with him fighting fights where he’s an underdog, but he’s got to have a good chance to win as well.”
Hope for a grudge match between KSI and Paul has all been lost in recent years.

But KSI’s Misfits Boxing and Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions will come together this Saturday in Miami.
After streamer Deen The Great pulled out of his bout against ex-UFC star Henry Cejudo, 39, MVP’s Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton, 20, stepped in as a replacement.
Taylor, who drove talks with MVP’s Nakisa Bidarian, said: “When Deen opted out, I knew that we didn’t want just any replacement.
“It had to make sense. And I think Wanna was such a great replacement. So when I called Nakisa about it, he was very open.
“Obviously, they’re getting paid well – both fighters are getting paid very well for this main event for a non-pay-per-view, so I’m really happy with that.
“I’m really happy with the replacement and Nakisa was too. It just made sense for Wanna to fight a high-profile fighter like that.
“Up to date, I don’t think he’s fought anyone that we know of. He’s 3-0, he’s a very good boxer.
“Henry’s an incredible fighter that comes with a list of insane accolades—gold medal at the Olympics and two UFC belts is no easy feat.
“The young against the wily old wolf—the young lion, who’s going to take it? I think the story writes itself.
“So yes, Deen got injured, so we’ll see what happens with that. He’s exciting to watch as well, so obviously there’s a nice little triangle here.”
